Chocolate Blitzen

2 ounces semisweet chocolate
⅓ cup chocolate-flavored sprinkles
1 cup chocolate ice cream
2 ounces (¼ cup) Irish cream liqueur
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) dark cream de cacao
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) vodka
Chocolate curls or grated chocolate

In a saucepan, heat chocolate over low heat until melted. Dip the rims of eight shot glasses in the melted chocolate and then dip in the sprinkles. Chill until serving time.

In a blender, combine ice cream, Irish cream liqueur, cream de cacao, and vodka. Blend until mixture is smooth.

Pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with chocolate curls. Serve immediately. Makes eight 1 oz. servings.

Great winter style covers the full range in a man’s wardrobe, from laid-back home for the holidays, to buttoned-up New Year’s Eve sharp. For our latest “Street to Styled” installment, we hit the streets and discovered a good mix of city and country, from tailored pieces and more creative use of color, to layering and vintage mountain style. Drink
Spicy Mulled Cider

5 ounces apple cider
2 ounces spiced rum
½ ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
2 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
pinch of nutmeg
 Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until well combined. Once the cider starts to steam, pour the contents of the saucepan into a mug and serve.
