After being on tour for nine straight months, Electric Guest is back and spilling secrets on the trials and tribulations of hauling their enormous synthesizers around the globe. Even before releasing an album, Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton of Electric Guest were playing huge festivals like SXSW and Sasquatch last year. After a chance encounter with Danger Mouse led to him producing their debut album, Mondo, the fame snowballed from there. Hear the band, which has since expanded to a four piece, talk about “freaking out” over the sudden attention.
