What’s going on in June? From getting high in California to dropping into a black hole on the big screen, this month’s happenings are anything but same old.

Hot-List_01"Preacher" on AMC & On Demand
Comedy superstar Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Breaking Bad‘s Sam Catlin developed a new series based on the bestselling comic about a supernatural preacher who joins forces with a vampire. The result is gritty, funny as hell and full of badass characters.

"No Stranger Than Love" in theaters & On Demand June 17

Who doesn’t love a good quirky rom-com? Just as Lucy (Alison Brie) tells a married Clint (Colin Hanks) that she loves him, he falls into a deep black hole in the middle of her living room. Now what? Buy your ticket to find out.

Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic June 18-19
June marks the 26th anniversary of this amazing two-day event in Windsor, California. The Hot Air Balloon Classic sets off 30 hot air balloons that dot the wine country sky. Set your alarm because we recommend getting there no later than 5AM to get the full experience. You won’t have time to snag breakfast before, but worry not – the event hosts food trucks – and most importantly, mimosas – to ease you into your early start.

BastionBastion is our new favorite spot in Nashville. With its quirky and comfortable vibe, it’s the ideal place to unwind and hang with your crew (the nachos and bar games don’t hurt either). Their just-opened kitchen and 24-seat restaurant, which is located through a secretive sliding door in the bar, takes only limited reservations but is totally worth any wait for Chef Josh Habiger’s seasonal creations.

Underwood Wine in a CanIntroducing the hot stepsister to wine in a box: wine in a can. Perfect for backyard barbecues, summer festivals or sneaking into the movies. Our fave? Rose. Rose all day, my friend.

Yes to Lip Oil

A lot of makeup brands have been rolling out new versions of these. They add shine with less stickiness than a gloss and they’re infused with essential oils that leave your lips kissably soft – a must for days in the sun and nights in the dark.

October’s the comfiest month of all. It’s still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors but cold enough that you can start enjoying the best part of dropping temps: the season’s soft and sweet new sweaters. Before you stock up, check out our list of the big ideas in sweaters this fall (hint: if you like lots of choices, you’re in luck).
